Japanese Style Nature Sketchbook

10 & 11 August 2026 – 2 days

9.00am – 3.30pm

£110.00 per child for 2 days

Suitable for ages 6 – 14 years

Immerse yourself in a day of creativity and nature in the gardens and studio workshop at
Caisson Gardens, exploring and observing plant forms.

During this workshop we will be exploring the wonderful gardens creating a foldout Japanese style nature sketchbook using a range of media , drawing, painting, oil pastels, collage, watercolour and monoprinting. 

The children will be introduced to a range of drawing and painting styles and there will be a focus on observational drawing skills as well as creative drawing and collage.

Led by the very creative and talented Alexandra Hucks, from the @the_art_room_bath – she has 24 years experience teaching art from primary age to A Level and adults. Full DBS checked.

This 2 day workshop will take place in our Studio. Please bring suitable clothing for the weather as we will be exploring the beautiful summer gardens for inspiration.

Please also bring a drink and a packed lunch – NO NUTS thank you.
