Children’s Summer Art Workshop

Blockprinting and Printing with Nature led by art teacher Alexandra Hucks

Immerse yourself in a Day of creativity and nature in the gardens and studio workshop at
Caisson Gardens, exploring pattern and printmaking on textiles using wood blocks and
natural forms.

Learn the basic principles of printing with blocks and foliage from the natural landscape.
There will be time for the children to explore the garden and select foliage for printing.

There will be opportunities for your child to explore composition and colour mixing to create their
own designs on a range of materials.

Led by the very creative and talented Alexandra Hucks, from the @the_art_room_bath – she has 24 years experience teaching art from primary age to A Level and adults. Full DBS checked.

This 1 day workshop will take place in our Studio. Please bring raincoats (just in case!) as we will be exploring the beautiful summer gardens for inspiration.

Please also bring a drink and a packed lunch – NO NUTS thank you.
